Young Jimi Hendrix
Before he became one of the greatest rock guitarist of all time, young Jimi’s first “guitar” was a ukulele with one string that he found while looking through the trash. Plucking it, Hendrix would play the tunes he loved by Elvis. When Jimi wanted to see Elvis perform in Seattle in 1957, he watched the concert from a nearby hill.
Jimi dreamed of the day crowds would gather to hear him sing about a more peaceful world.
